 Shoemaker State Nature Preserve Geology & Wildflower hike at Shawnee Nature Preserve

Meet at the parking lot at 165 Pine Gap Rd., Peebles, Ohio at 10 a.m. for a walk in the upper watershed.  Program length approximately 2 hrs.  Trail loops from the uplands down to the stream and back to the parking area.  Hike will feature ODNR Geology staff discussing the limestone cliffs and showcasing the rock arch in the preserve. Spring wildflowers should be in bloom to delight the visitors as well.  Wear waterproof footwear as the trails can be wet after spring rains.  Hiking sticks, binoculars and cameras optional.  Please remember pets are not allowed in State Nature Preserves.
