About the speaker
 
David Kessler is currently the full-time medical director and senior vice president at Sedgwick Managed Care Ohio. He started in 1997 as an associate medical director. Dr. Kessler was in private practice from 1986 to 2004. He had served as a BWC examiner from 1994 to 2004 as well as providing consulting work for various MCOs, self-insured organizations, commercial health carriers, and liability insurance companies. Dr. Kessler graduated from The Ohio State University with Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology, The National University of Health Sciences with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, and A.T. Still University School of Health Management with a Master of Health Administration degree. He has completed post-graduate training and holds certifications in sports medicine, orthopedics, and quality assurance/utilization review.
